I took on this water challenge thinking that I may not see a difference in the length of my hair, however I was proven very wrong!
The average person's hair grows about 1cm per month. After 30 days my hair grew 4cm longer by just consuming two litres of water per day!
This was an amazing result and as you can imagine, I was thrilled with the outcome. I tracked my daily water intake by using a two litre water bottle. I would thoroughly recommend getting a similar bottle as it will really help you stay on track. If you find it too bulky, you could always pour the water from the bottle into a glass throughout the day.
Here are a few pointers and what I noticed throughout the whole 30 day challenge!
> Drinking water as soon as you wake up will not only boost your energy levels but our body tends to get dehydrated during the night so it's a great way to start the day. Drinking water first thing in the morning will also help you feel more prepared and awake for the day ahead.
> I found the afternoon a whole lot harder to finish my water bottle so I decided to increase my water intake as soon as I woke up and throughout the whole morning and then I sipped my way through the rest of the water in the afternoon.
> If you struggle with fatigue, it could be because you're not drinking enough water! I definitely got more things done because I felt more focused and could concentrate on my work for a longer period of time!
> Drinking more water hydrates your body and allows essential nutrients and vitamins to be absorbed into your system and scalp a lot more quickly and efficiently. My skin felt clearer and hydrated whilst my eyes seemed a little brighter, perhaps more awake!
