About the Pause
If you’ve landed on this page, you may be wondering what’s happening behind the scenes at Cordina Hair and why we’re entering a sabbatical.
I’ve been building Cordina Hair for over a decade, and it’s been an incredible journey.
Over the past 10 years, the business has grown from a garden-shed start-up into an established brand with its own office, thousands of Flower Curls and Waver Buns sold worldwide, the launch of a silicone-free hair oil, an appearance on Dragons’ Den, and features across numerous press outlets.
Our patented hair tools have gone viral multiple times, reaching over 105 million people globally. As a founder, that level of reach is something I’m incredibly proud of and don’t take lightly.
During this same period, I also welcomed two baby boys, the youngest just four months old. This season of life has prompted me to step back and reassess how I balance personal priorities alongside leading the business.
As a result, I’ve made the considered decision to pause Cordina Hair temporarily, allowing time to focus on my health, my family, and to reflect on the next chapter for the brand.
Ahead of this pause, we’re running a Sabbatical Sale as we carefully wind down current inventory.
While we don’t have a confirmed date for reopening, Cordina Hair remains an IP-led business. Our patented hair tools are protected by granted patents and trademarks and can only be purchased through CordinaHair.com. Infringements and unauthorised copies will continue to be actively monitored and taken down during this period.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Cordina Hair over the years. This isn’t an ending, just a pause.

Meet the Founder
Yanika Cordina, Founder of Cordina Hair and inventor of the hair styling inventions; Flower Curl and Waver Bun.
The hair tools have been featured on Dragons Den UK, BBC ONE, GOV.UK and named by the Independent as ''the most comfortable heatless hair curler''.
She launched her hair tools to the public in late 2018 after spending months of prototyping in her trusty old shed and has since earned multiple patents, awards and reached over 110 million people organically on social media resulting in multiple sell outs.
Originally from Malta, Yanika ventured to the UK at the age of eighteen and now resides in Dorset, UK.
